Jessica launched Southdown Duvets in 2010 and since then has been resolving customers’ sleep issues. Her bedding (made with 100% British Southdown wool) not only ticks the eco-friendly boxes (fully traceable and bio-degradable), but it is also hypo-allergenic and can tackle the dreaded night sweats.

As well as selling bedding, Southdown Duvets has a lovely gift section where you can buy knitting yarn, a recipe book and a stuffed sheep, among other things…

Jessica has also been associated with The Big Issue for years, with many of TBI readers becoming her happy bedding customers. She writes a weekly blog for TBI and decided this year to collate some of the blogs into an easy, put-a-smile-on-your-face read, the proceeds of which will go to TBI in support of their vendors. Called Laughing with the Lambs, the book is all about the crazy spontaneous life of a sheep farmer and all the animals she shares her farm with – a guaranteed Christmas present winner and in aid of charity too!
