Dreaming of a good nights sleep? Then read on...
In December 2017 Baby2Sleep was launched and offered bespoke one-to-one support to families who needed help in supporting their baby or child to sleep well.
In August 2019, Nicole started creating online baby sleep courses offering online support for parents of babies between 6 and 24 months. The Baby2Sleep Build Your Own Sleep Plan range has since won various awards and has helped countless families get a better night’s sleep for less money.
In 2021, the Toddler2Child Sleep and Behaviour Guide was created, as you cannot support a toddler or young child to sleep the same as you would a baby. Around the age of 2 years old, toddlers begin to develop rapidly and they begin to express their independent spirit which can be challenging. Speech is also developing at a fast pace, and all these can create additional challenges where sleep is concerned. This means we need to approach sleep from more of a behavioural angle, laying solid foundations during the day to support our little ones on their new path to a better night’s sleep.
In 2022, Nicole launched Passport2Parenthood, ‘Navigating The First 6 Months Of A Baby’s Life’. This has been created with the parents in mind. Helping them prepare practically and emotionally for their baby’s arrival, and helping them navigate the very normal developments that babies go through in their first 6 months of life. This course has also been designed to link new parents to relevant support should they feel they need it in areas that Nicole is not an expert in such as feeding, reflux, tongue tie, women’s health and much more. It has been created with the aim being to support the parent’s mental health during what can be very confusing and difficult times by putting evidence-based information all in one place.
Nicole has also brought on numerous experts to share their knowledge with you and direct you to further support should you need it. The Passport2Parenthood Course includes HR advice, working rights when pregnant, on maternity and paternity leave and your return to work rights, Birth Trauma support, Safe Pregnancy Sleep, Reasons to undertake a pediatric first aid course, women’s health physio and Olliki talks you through bonding and playing with your baby to help rain development. There are many more due to come on board to share their knowledge and expertise in order to make the journey from pregnancy to parenthood less stressful and more supported.
Sleep support should be available and affordable to every parent that needs it and unfortunately, not everyone is in the position to be able to afford personalised one-to-one help.
If you are looking for a good night’s sleep and would like a hand to hold on your journey, then take a look at the options available knowing that there is something there that will suit your family.
These courses have been created by a mum who truly understands the depths of sleep deprivation from personal experience, and has continued to study sleep and behaviour to ensure you have access to the most up-to-date and useful information. You can read more about Nicole’s story in various media outlets which you can find on the press page.
Nicole has undertaken the Holistic Sleep Coaching course created by Lyndsey Hookway through BabyEm and Toddler and Pre-School Behaviour course, The Incredible Years.
Nicole has also been featured in the Manchester Evening News, The Mirror, The Daily Mail, The Mail Online, The Sun, GoodToKnow, Stylist, The Sue Atkins Podcast, BBC, ITV, and Metro News, The Mirror, GBN, Lancashire Live with more to come.
